Lessons From Hijab : Identity

Does wearing hijab mean you forget about your individual identity, people or culture? Of course not. In this message I go over lessons I learned regarding identity and how hijab has taught me to appreciate my roots more rather then to abandon them. Allah (SWT) tells us in surah Al-Hujurat ayat 13 that He has made us different for a reason. One can not appreciate others if they don't even know themselves. Hijab conceals whats irrelevant and forces you to put your character (rather then your curves/vanity) forward.
