Asalaamu Alaykum sisters and welcome! I am Naomi, a wife and mother to 5. I am a Puerto Rican Muslimah from Chicago. I lived in Grand Rapids, MI. and am now living in sunny Southern California. I make YouTube videos about dawah, living healthy, relationships and comparative religion.
I am the author of "Chicago's Daughter" a memoir. I was a contributing writer for Me Muslima and SoLatina. I've also written for ICNAs Noor magazine. I have an A.A. in Communicative Studies and a Bachelors of Science in Management. Prior to converting to Islam, I worked as a community counselor and speaker at Mel Trotter Ministries.
My intent is to give dawah and to build alliances with sisters of the Abrahamic faiths, while also doing away with misinformation regarding Islam and Muslims.
